KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides exceptional hospitality to guests from beginning to end of event

Maintains a safe work environment throughout the event, focusing constantly on the safety of guests and employees

Sets up, serves, and breaks down each event as directed by the Captain

Participates in staff “pre-meal” meeting prior to each event

Maintains a high level of professionalism, energy and a positive attitude

Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items
-
Communicates any questions, complaints or special requests to the Event Floor Captain
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-
2-3 years of catering/banquet front-of-the-house experience preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate.

Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and cohesively as part of a team

Prioritize, manage and follow through on multiple tasks with frequent interruptions and under deadline pressure

Ability to communicate with highly diverse group of people and exhibit sensitivity to cultural differences
-
Able to perform the physical demands of the job which include: continuous walking at a rapid pace, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling (25 lbs. +)

Ability to work a flexible schedule which include nights and weekends
